Medinvents is a manufacturer of large core soft tissue biopsy surgical biopsy instruments for the early detection of diseases mainly breast cancer. The products have never been built before and are intended for use in interventional radiology and oncology. The manufacturing is under ISO 9001-2000 and ISO 13485 integral quality control. All products are CE and FDA approved for worldwide distribution. The main products are Spirotome, a manual biopsy device for single use and reuse. The Coramate is a completely automated and computerized system. The Cervicore is used to take biopsies in a direct and frontal way from the human cervix. The Easy Punch is for dermal applications. The Spirotome bone is specifically used in osteolytic lesions of the bone. All products are MRI conditional. The main advantages of the products are that the procedure causes no pain to the patient. The technique is precise and representative when radiologically guided (US, stereotaxis, MRI, CT).
